Step 1: ProBurn Advanced (Burn Calories) by PC Laboratories

Step 1 of our PC Laboratories 3 Step Fat Loss System is all about Burning Calories and making your weight loss journey easier. Whether it be improving your energy levels, reducing hunger or helping you avoid the “diet-brain”, ProBurn can help to make your weight loss journey easier to manage and your nutrition/training programs easier to stick to. ProBurn focuses on 4 different pathways to help you achieve your weight loss goal in a healthy and efficient way.

Burn Calories

At its very core weight loss comes down to a simple equation of Calories In vs. Calories Out. A small increase in your Daily Metabolic Rate may seem minor but can make a huge difference. Let us explain, for example;

  • Fiona is following a tailored nutrition and training program and is estimated to be in a 200 calorie deficit.
  • Fiona Introduces ProBurn Advanced and starts burning an additional 100 calories per day by increasing her metabolism and thermogenesis through ProBurn.
  • Plus thanks to ProBurn Fiona has more energy and focus during the day so she is naturally more active and exercising with more intensity, increasing her daily calorie burn by another 100 calories.
  • Fiona has now successfully taken her calorie deficit from 200 calories daily to 400 calories daily which in effect has doubled her fat-burning potential for that day.

Increase Energy with No Crash!

During a calorie deficit, your body tends to conserve energy which can cause periods where you feel tired or lethargic. ProBurn contains a moderate amount of clinically trialled and proven ingredients that will help to increase your energy within 20-30 minutes. These ingredients include Caffeine, Hordenine and Synephrine, by introducing these stimulants ProBurn is able to deliver clean, steady energy, focus and motivation without overstimulation or the feeling of “the jitters”. Additionally, ProBurn includes Alpha GPC and Griffonia Simplicifolia Extract which work to support your natural Serotonin and Dopamine production which helps to eliminate crash.

The dosage protocol of ProBurn is to take 1 capsule in the morning on an empty stomach to kickstart your metabolism and give you energy in the morning. We recommend taking your second serve in the early afternoon or just before training. This will ensure you have energy all day long, and/or for your exercise so you can train more intensely. To ensure there is no disturbance to your sleeping patterns we recommend taking your second dose of ProBurn no later than 5 pm.

Appetite & Craving Control

A sustained calorie deficit for fat loss can have interesting impacts on our body’s signalling system and hormone levels. During your weight loss journey, you will likely feel hunger on a daily basis and may even experience cravings. Cravings during a calorie deficit are commonly for sweet, salty or carbohydrate-dense foods. These are foods that your body might want for the “fast energy” they can provide as well as the dopamine/serotonin hit they provide to the diet-depleted pleasure centres of your brain.
ProBurn includes Alpha GPC and Griffonia Simplicifolia Extract which support dopamine/serotonin production and will help to reduce cravings. Ingredients such as Caffeine and Capsacian have been scientifically shown to reduce hunger. ProBurn’s ingredients should make sticking to your calorie-controlled nutrition plan more achievable with a lower risk of over-eating or binging.

Improve Focus & Mood While Dieting

Along with its effects on your hunger levels and brain chemistry, being in a consistent calorie deficit can also create a “brain-fog”. A lack of concentration, poor memory or feeling flat are all common whilst dieting. ProBurn Advanced’s ingredients will help to clear brain-fog, improve your mood and boost cognitive function.

How to take ProBurn Advanced:

Take 1 capsule of ProBurn Advanced first thing in the morning on an empty stomach with 250-500ml of water. Take another capsule before lunch or training with 250-500ml of water, no later than 5pm. We recommend taking ProALCAR+ at the same time as your ProBurn. Avoid eating other foods or drinking a protein shake within 30 mins after consuming ProBurn. Drink at least 3 litres of water spread evenly throughout the day while using ProBurn Advanced.

Green Tea Extract

  • Green tea extract thermogenesis-induced weight loss by epigallocatechin gallate inhibition of catechol-O-methyltransferase. | | Reports have shown that green tea extract intake is associated with increased weight loss due to diet-induced thermogenesis, which is generally attributed to the catechin epigallocatechin gallate. That catechin-polyphenols are known to be capable of inhibiting catechol-O-methyltransferase (the enzyme that degrades norepinephrine) is a possible explanation for why the green tea extract is effective in stimulating thermogenesis by epigallocatechin gallate to augment and prolong sympathetic stimulation of thermogenesis.

  • The Effects of Supplementation with p-Synephrine Alone and in Combination with Caffeine on Metabolic, Lipolytic, and Cardiovascular Responses during Resistance Exercise. | |Supplementation with Synephrine and Synephrine+Caffeine increases lipolysis primarily at rest and increases VO2, EE, and fat oxidation rates 30 minutes following RE. No Heart Rate changes were observed unless caffeine was added.
  • Safety, Efficacy, and Mechanistic Studies Regarding Citrus aurantium (Bitter Orange) Extract and p-Synephrine. | | No adverse effects were observed or reported with respect to p‐synephrine consumption in the presence or absence of caffeine, while p‐synephrine increased desirable effects including lipolysis, energy expenditure, fat oxidation
  • Effects of p-synephrine alone and in combination with selected bioflavonoids on resting metabolism, blood pressure, heart rate and self-reported mood changes. | | The group receiving p-synephrine (50 mg) alone exhibited a 65 kcal increase in RMR as compared to the placebo group.

  • Combined medium-chain triglyceride and chilli feeding increases diet-induced thermogenesis in normal-weight humans. | | Adding chilli and MCT to meals increases Diet Induced Thermogenesis by over 50 % which over time may cumulate to help induce weight loss and prevent weight gain or regain.
  • Effects of red pepper on appetite and energy intake. | | Results indicate that the ingestion of red pepper decreases appetite and subsequent protein and fat intakes in Japanese females and energy intake in Caucasian males. Moreover, this effect might be related to an increase in sympathetic nervous system activity in Caucasian males.
  • The effects of capsaicin and capsiate on energy balance: critical review and meta-analyses of studies in humans. | |
  • Evidence indicates that capsaicin and capsiate both augment energy expenditure and enhance fat oxidation, especially at high doses. Furthermore, the balance of the literature suggests that capsaicin and capsiate suppress orexigenic sensations.
  • Sensory and gastrointestinal satiety effects of capsaicin on food intake | |Both oral and gastrointestinal exposure to capsaicin increased satiety and reduced energy and fat intake; the stronger reduction with oral exposure suggests a sensory effect of capsaicin.
